Eighteen months ago, our industry bible PR Week named us New Consultancy of the Year and gave us a nice shiny award for the boardroom.

Then early in 2007, PR Week singled us out (again) as the biggest mover in the industry in their hugely influential Top 150 PR Consultancies issue. Thank you.

They went on (and excuse us if we blush at this point) to praise us for a staggering 354 per cent’ fee income rise, to £1.3m up to Oct 2006 – while predicting a 2007 fee income in excess of £2.1m.

As well as describing our move in the Top 150 table as the biggest jump by some distance, they said 3 Monkeys hopes ‘to open an office in Europe and expand the Newsroom, which already boasts a team of six ex-journalists who have good relationships with media contacts.’

Crikey.

And then in May 2007, The Times said: "A welcome to a firm that rejoices in the name 3 Monkeys. Its press releases actually contain colour and the staff describe themselves as "tenacious monkeys". I look forward to further contact..."

Yes, The Times. Crikey again.
