3 Monkeys wins Henley Ferstival gig

3 Monkeys Communications has won a brief to promote the Henley Festival in July 2010 and to manage its press office in the run up to the event.

The Henley Festival brings together world class musicians, performers, artists and the finest in wining and dining in one of England's most beautiful settings in Henley. Since its launch over 25 years ago, it has established itself as a unique event in the festival calendar and spans classical music, rock, pop, jazz, opera and folk as well as visual art and dance and comedy.

3 Monkeys is tasked with raising the profile of the Festival to a wider audience and drive ticket sales for the event. They will also handle all media enquiries and ticket requests. Activity will centre around promoting the Festival's headliners and smaller acts both nationally and regionally.

The project will be lead by chief monkey Angie Moxham and a team of three consultants and will report into marketing manager, Leslie Metzler.

Angie Moxham, chief monkey said:

“Being a music lover all of my life, I'm personally really excited about getting involved with the Henley Festival and the broad spectrum of top class acts. It's great to be supporting such a unique event in the summer calendar and we look forward to joining the crowds in Henley in July.”

Leslie Metzler, marketing manager for Henley Festival added:

“3 Monkeys showed a real passion for the Festival and what we're trying to achieve with the event. We're sure that they will help raise our profile and drive ticket sales and help make Henley one of the must-see events of the year!”
